From 50-year-old Shiraz vines and carefully tended blocks, we harvest small parcels of fruit — chosen for balance, flavour, and character.

Each batch is hand-plunged, basket-pressed, and matured in quality oak. Traditional methods that demand patience, but reward with depth and structure.

Release.

Our wines are crafted in small quantities, with 50-year-old Shiraz vines forming the foundation for our blends and Sparkling Shiraz. Each release is typically held back for two years of bottle age, ensuring the wines are ready to enjoy upon release, yet with the structure to reward further cellaring.

Cellaring & Serving Tips

Make the most of your Burnt Acre wines with these simple guidelines:

Cellaring

Most of our wines will develop beautifully over 3–7 years. Reserve releases reward longer cellaring.

Storage

Keep bottles in a cool, dark place, ideally on their side to maintain cork moisture on our Sparkling Red.

Serving Temperature

Enjoy reds at 16–18°C for balance and depth.

Decanting

Younger wines benefit from decanting to enhance aromas and soften tannins.

  • Yes. By law, all purchases must be made by someone over 18. ID may be requested at delivery.

  • Orders are generally dispatched within 3–5 business days. Delivery times vary by location and courier.

  • Yes. A flat $20 delivery fee applies for Wine Club packs interstate. Standard courier rates apply for other orders.

  • Most wines will develop beautifully over 3–7 years. Reserve wines like The Ants Pants are ideal for longer cellaring. Keep bottles in a cool, dark place.

  • Members receive exclusive access to small-batch wines, event invitations, 20% off case purchases, and free delivery in Victoria.

  • Yes, 12 bottles per year (delivered in May or November). No joining fee and no lock-in contract.

  • Absolutely. Just give us a call before billing and you can swap wines or change to a mixed case.
