Wine Tasting at Burnt Acre

Burnt Acre does not operate a traditional cellar door; instead, we offer exclusive, pre-booked tasting experiences.

Enhance your tasting with a regional grazing platter featuring local artisan produce and olives from our own trees at the end of the vineyard, cured by hand here at Burnt Acre.

We host intimate tastings of our latest releases, served in Reidel glassware to let each wine express its true character. On occasion, we open a museum wine so you can compare vintages side by side. In cooler months, tastings are held fireside for a cosy atmosphere, while in warmer weather we move out onto the deck overlooking the vines.

  • Yes, all Burnt Acre experiences are by appointment only. This ensures we can give you the time and attention your visit deserves.

  • Most experiences require a minimum wine purchase or a case order. We’ll confirm details when you enquire so everything is clear before your visit.

    However, we do have a set price for standard tastings:

    Wine Tasting only: $25 per person (refundable upon purchase)

    Wine Tasting + Grazing Platter: $40 per person

  • Absolutely. Every experience is curated — from relaxed tastings and vineyard walks to light lunches, platters, or private dinners. Tell us what you’re looking for and we’ll design it with you.

  • We cater for small, intimate groups up to 10. Let us know your group size in your enquiry so we can plan accordingly.

  • Yes, we’ll work with you to ensure food and wine pairings are suited to your group. Just include dietary needs when you enquire.

  • Transport is not included, but we’re happy to recommend local providers if needed.
